There has been much confusion this year with respect to IIT JEE 2013. Beginning with the HRD ministry proposing the whole "One nation, one test" theory to agitations by students across IITs to protests against the new format to incessant meetings by the Joint Admission Board (JAB) and various IIT senates, much has happened within a period of three-four months on the JEE front. Finally, the powers that be came to a consensus that there will be two stages to the exam in 2013 – Main and Advanced. It was also further decided that the JEE advanced paper will be the same as that of all the previous years. All changes shall be made only from the year 2014. Gyancentral brings you this infographic on JEE.
We only hope that the changes for JEE 2014 comes with more sense and keeping in mind the students’ exam pressures. JEE is one of the foremost entrance exams in the country and the only way to maintain its dignity is by keeping its reigns safely in the hands of our top rung academicians rather than politicians and bureaucrats.
