"Last year AILET clashed on the same date as AIEEE, on May 5, 2012. AIEEE faced some problem with paper leak and other controversies, which had a major impact on our paper as well. So this year we have set the date as April 28, 2013, before CLAT, which is slated to be on May 12, 2013. Our admission procedures will also be over before other NLUs," said Prof. Rao to GyanCentral.
AILET is the independent entrance examination conducted by NLU-D, that offers 70 seats for their five-year B.A LLB (Hons.) program. Ten additional seats are allocated to foreign nationals.
NLU-D was established in 2008 and is now considered as one of the top national law schools in the country. AILET is one of the most awaited and biggest law entrance exams, apart from the popular Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), and thousands of students work hard throughout the year to make it to NLU-D.
