The students who are not satisfied with their result can ask for a manual re-tabulation of their marks. Students will be required to make the request before the 24th February 2012, as the 30 day window will close. They also are required to pay USD 100 (approximately INR 5,000) for the same exercise. Candidates can login and fill the form required for re-tabulation.
The students who have cleared level 1 will be eligible to attempt the June 2012 CFA entrance exam for level 2. Interesting to note that this year the December CFA level 1 pass percentage which stood at 38% was higher than any of the previous years December pass percentage upto 2007 which had a 39% pass percentage rate.

Students who were not able to clear the exam would be well advised to start their preparation again. The June 2011 attempt had a 39%, level 1 pass rate and is a golden opportunity for them to clear the level. They can also follow the sectional strategy preparation given by expert CFA mentor.

On 24th January, 2012, the CFA institute announced the results of the December 2011 CFA level 1 examination. Students were emailed their result by the institute. The result made a lot of aspirants happy as the pass percentage was 2 to 3% higher than the norm in the December attempt.
