Critical Evaluation of Lsat 2013
LSAT (Law School Admission Test) is one of the important law exam which is held every year and is an entrance exam to various descent law schools in the country. This time it would be held on19th May 2013. The exam consists of four sections Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning 1, Logical Reasoning 2 and Reading Comprehension. Each section consists of approximately 24 questions. The exam in total has approximately 92-100 questions and is of 2hours and 20 minutes. All the questions are in a multiple choice format and all questions in the 2013 exam will have five answer choices. The basic difference between LSAT and CLAT is that firstly they don’t test you on legal reasoning or legal G.K it is the only law exam I guess which doesn’t tests aspirants on legal in any form. Another difference is that there is no break between any sections of the test. The invigilators carefully time each section using countdown timers allowing 35 minutes for each of the four sections. Invigilators give warning 5 minutes before the time actually gets over. When the time gets over the invigilators ask you to stop attempting that section and start attempting the next section. You are asked to attempt a particular section in a particular time. You are not permitted to go back to the earlier section or move on to the next section if you have finished a section before time is over. Let’s discuss the LSAT exam section wise
Analytical Reasoning- Blood Relations, Logical conclusions about the structure, Deductive Logic, Puzzle Test. Basically questions that would need complex analyses that a law student would require to perform in the course of legal problem solving.
Logical Reasoning- arguments, Reading and comprehending short questions, Conclusions, reasoning by analogy, how additional evidence affects an argument, Applying rules and identifying argument flaws.
Reading Comprehension- There will be around 3 to 4 Reading comprehensions. The reading comprehension would be followed by 4 to 8 questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.
Till now I have discussed the pattern of the exam of LSAT. Now let’s discuss the important colleges under the LSAT Exam.
Some of the descent law schools in which you get through this exam are
1. UPES.Dehradun
2. Jindal Global Law School - Sonipat
3. K.L.E. Society’s Law College – Bangalore
I will suggest you to give this Exam even if you are 99% sure that you will be able to clear CLAT because the 1% doubt is very dangerous you need to keep at least one college in which you can get very easily. If you want to do law by any means you should apply for LSAT in my opinion.

Re: Critical Evaluation of Lsat 2013
Look anmol no law school can take place of the 14 nlu's under clat they are the best lae schools and will always remain the best... And yes now about op jindal it is a good law school and provides you with good infrastructure, placements and internships.. We can say that it is like nlu's but surely it cant take place of the nlu's now your question would be why? The answer to this is that look in nlu's the crowd is too good we can say that the creamy layer of lawyers can be found in these nlus and some other top law schools but not in op jindal because the fees of this law school is too high and not every student can afford it...
