BA LLB vs BBA LLB ? Whats the difference and which is better?

Hello there, so a lot of colleges seem to have the two as degree options and I wanted to seek answers from you guys here.

I cant make up my mind about which one to choose while filling the entrance forms since I dont really know much about either of them and was hoping you guys could help solve my doubts and hence help me decide.

    1. What is the difference between BBA LLB and BA LLB?

    2. Which one is better? (In terms of placements, future prospects)

    3. Would selecting BBA LLB be necessary if I wanted to be a corporate lawyer?

    4. Is any of the two unsafe? And is any of the two more highly regarded than the other.

Thanks for your time and replies in advance.
    Really appreciate it! :)

    1. There is not much difference except for the fact that these two are different degrees.
    2. Both are equally good. Ba.llb is conventional 5-year law degree and is offered in almost all the major law colleges where as BBA.LLB is offered only in a handful of colleges.
    3. Not at all. NLS, NUJS does not offer BBA.LLB.
    4. No

    Hi,
Below are responses to all your queries:

    1. Both courses are very closely related, but there is quite a bit of difference in terms of the focus of the subject and career opportunities associated with the topics. The BA LLB and BBA LLB are both 5 year integrated courses the eligibility for which is 10+2 with any subjects and a minimum of 50%. The BA LLB course covering arts subjects with law and the BBA LLB course management and business subjects with law. Below are domain focused specializations associated with both the programs which are quite demanding, you can have a glimpse and decide accordingly:

BA LLB (Hons.) with emphasis in Energy Laws
The program has been prepared with an intention to create dedicated professionals who are well trained in legal framework and contractual requirements for energy sector companies.
Students are exposed to the latest laws and judgments pertinent to the core sectors of India, apart from studying the regular legal subjects.

Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 50% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).

BBA LLB (Hons.) with emphasis in Corporate Laws
This program aims to create a brand new race of Corporate Lawyers who would not only understand the intricacies of business but be equally well-versed in the nuances of Corporate Laws and Regulatory Affairs.
You will gain valuable insights in both the business functions like finance, human resource management, marketing, international business and corporate laws in the fields of Banking, Corporate Governance, Investment, Competition, Insurance and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Eligibility Criteria: Minimum 50% Marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).

    2. Both are good and have equal importance in their respective fields.
    3. It's not mandatory but yes BBA LLB is more preferred choice to become corporate lawyer
