GyanCentral speaks to Professor RK Singh, an expert IITJEE coach, to analyze the IITJEE 2012 paper and his assessment on the difficulty level and ideal strategy to be adopted. Undoubtedly one of the most competitive examinations in the world, IIT-JEE was conducted today, where almost 5 lakh students fight for approximately 10,000 seats, to get through the 15 prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) in India. GyanCentral caught up with students outside two examination centers in Mumbai to find out about their reaction and experience on this grueling six hour long test.

The IIT-JEE exam was conducted today with approximately 5 lakh students appearing for the paper. Parents and relatives waited anxiously for as long as eight hours, while their children wrote one of the toughest competitive examinations in the country.

The IITJEE exam is scheduled for tomorrow, 8th April 2012. This is the day for which half a million students await anxiously. Many students have slogged for the past 1 to 2 years to realize their dream of making it to the IIT's. The day before the exam is a battle of nerves and mental toughness.
